About Eric Gorman
Eric Gorman brings decades of hands‑on experience in excavation, rock work, and site preparation. Originally from New Mexico, Eric grew up skiing the Sandia Mountains and Taos, later moving to Colorado to attend Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, where he studied ski‑area and heavy‑equipment operations.
From 1992 to 2003, Eric worked for Vail Resorts as a ski instructor while also building a career in construction. His early work with a general contractor in the Vail Valley focused on carpentry and site work, eventually leading him to specialize in heavy equipment operation. Over the years, he has built more than 100 decorative and retaining rock walls throughout the region.
After relocating to Florida in 2021, Eric served as a foreman for a general contractor, overseeing excavation for roads and drainage systems. Today, he brings that same expertise, precision, and pride in workmanship to Rock Solid Industries, serving Brevard County and surrounding areas.
